Children without families crave for love and affection, such young minds need to know there are people who care for them and thus enable a nourished childhood. Today’s children would be tomorrow’s citizens and thus having a hand in framing these young minds gives us immense joy. We conduct multiple events with children in the orphanages and engage them in activities that are both educational & recreational.

Our Volunteers & team often celebrate their birthdays’ with these children, making them feel a part of a larger family. As a part of this, we also donate books, stationery items, and other supplies to aid these children with their education.

Old people are often known as children, as they become as innocent and look for love and affection just as children do.

Our programs in elderly care involve visiting old age homes time and again, to spend time with the elderly often lending an ear to them and engaging them in activities that would uplift their spirits.

We enjoy the time spent with these elderly who have so much to offer in terms of life insight and in turn our presence and care makes them feel joyous.

Health is indeed wealth. However, not everyone has the means and resources to take care of their ‘wealth’.

We play an active role in helping out the less fortunate when they have health care needs, such as visiting hospitals where such people are admitted and provide them with healthy food such as fruits, look after their needs in terms of blood donations if any and an overall participation in helping the needy out to recover their health and return happy.

India is a developing country where a chunk of the society still lives in slums and places that are devoid of basic hygiene and sanitation.

Janmamirtha Trust actively participates in such a class of the society by engaging with these slum dwellers and educating them on the importance of proper sanitation, cleanliness, and literacy.

We regularly conduct health Check-ups for the slum dwellers to ensure they are devoid of any diseases and such.

Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.

Janmamirtha Trust enjoys time spent with the young minds of today in local schools of Bangalore where we conduct activities ranging from cultural to arts and craft to educational.

We work towards providing the less fortunate kids with their books and stationery needs too.

The specially-abled in various ways need special care and love. We visit several such homes for the specially-abled and engage with them to uplift their morale and boost their spirits.

We have worked with some that have exhibited intellectual disability and are proud and happy to say with constant care and therapy has seen a great change in them.

So is the case with the other specially-abled persons whom we nurture, by visiting them with our volunteers, spending quality time, providing them with healthy food such as fruits, etc.

We value and respect these specially-abled for they teach us the value of life and how to respect it!

Apart from all of the above, we always contribute our efforts towards fundraising for disasters or unsuspected eventualities and help the affected.

Recent incidents of flooding in Coorg (Madikeri) and Kerala had seen a lot of victims displaced due to the torrential downpour and the resultant floods. We gathered resources, allocated them across the affected areas so victims can get them. We also work to especially help children affected in these situations.

We genuinely believe a helping hand at the time of the need is the biggest act of kindness that we as a human race can do.
