Our Story
Janmamithra Trust was started as an initiative by the founder Mr. Sharath P V on Oct 2015, with the motive of bringing and encouraging youth to cultivate the habit of sharing & caring for the society they live in.
Sharath used to actively scribe for visually impaired students from around 2014. In the year 2015 along with a few friends he decided to pursue his charitable intentions in a bigger way and that was the birth of Janmamithra Trust.
The team started with a handful of people and now evolved with 250+ Volunteers from Bengaluru. We have seen a consistent growth both by the increasing strength of the team in terms of volunteers as well as the opportunities to help the society, especially the needy.
In the past six years of existence, Janmamithra Trust has successfully organized over 200+ events such as sponsoring a kid per year, working with HIV infected kids, adoption of a Government Primary School at Kurubarahalli Village, child labour awareness camps, organ donations, once a month lunch for 100+ needy, and more listed under our projects.
Janmamithra Trust has been self-funded functioning thus far with volunteers funding activities of their will.
We would love to have volunteers who could further help our cause by finding donations in a more organized manner!
